Meet with your colleagues involved in Major Research Initiatives and Opportunity & Exploratory Grants that address the Secretary of Transportation’s strategic goal of improving public health and safety by reducing transportation-related fatalities and injuries. Be on hand to help shape the direction of transportation research, education, and technology transfer in the Southeast. STC funds large-scale, multi-university transportation safety research initiatives as well as opportunity and exploratory grants in the Southeast.
Learn about the progress of the STC’s Major Research Initiatives (MRI) and Opportunity & Exploratory (OE) Grants. Be on hand to help shape the direction of transportation research, education, and technology transfer in the Southeast. The keynote address will be delivered by Dan Turner, Professor Emeritus at the University of Alabama.
