Transportation Workforce Development Conference

The conference is organized by the Southeastern Transportation Center and the Center for Transportation Research at the University of Tennessee, with the support and guidance of regional stakeholders in education, industry, and government in the southeast. This conference will focus on the high school, community college, and technical school sectors in the southeast, bringing together everyone with a vested interest in meeting the workforce needs of our region's transportation future through education and training.

It is part of a larger, national effort whose outcomes will help shape the future of transportation in the United States for decades to come.

Who should attend?
Participants will represent transportation agencies at the federal, state, and local level; educational institutions and related government agencies; transportation carriers, contractors, and suppliers; and elected decision makers.
